A editors prep secrets

As an editor you will no doubt attend a series of prestigious events, these could be in the shape of major beauty launches, make-up releases, fashion shows and magazine releases.

At any one of these events it is important to keep up appearances in order to impress potential clients and to show off your assets to full effect, this is why dressing correctly is a must!

Working for a major magazine and wearing a piece from last season just won’t do!  This will only suggest that the magazine in question is not up to date on the latest fashions and clients will in turn go else where!

Prepping for an evening out or a press release is a must and can make or break a deal.  Go shopping in advance and stock up on a few key pieces that you have had your eyes on all season.  this way when it comes to a last minute event you will have some thing on trend and on hand to turn too when needed asap!

Have a trusty fail safe item that is timeless such as a little black dress and dress it up with designer accessories that are so this season, such as a statement neck piece and super embellish bracelet or a cutesy chain!

If you do have time try to plan a few outfits and hang them up in your closet, if you are as busy as most editors you will often have to rush home to change and no sooner than you have walked in the door you will have to walk out again.
