Jenny Packham reveals her goals!

Jenny Packham has dressed pretty much every famous Kate you can imagine.  Her list includes the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Kate Winslet and Kate Middleton.  There is however one more ‘Kate’ on her to do list.  The Kate in question is in fact Cate Blanchett.

Her new collection has taken inspiration from Film Noir and reveals elements of the heroines and the femme fatale.  This style she believes would suit Cate perfectly.

There is one piece in the collection that has the actresses name on it and it comes in the shape of a backless silver number.  The dress falls elegantly to the floor and is cinched in at the waist with a single strap belt.

The model showcasing the must-have dress work her hair up in a crimped style and finished the look with sultry make-up in the shape of dewy skin and deep burgundy lips.  The overall look created quite a statement and such a style is guaranteed to turn heads at any affair.

It must however be worn with heels in order to portray the full effect.  Heels will have the effect of elongating the figure even further, making whoever wears it appear a lot taller than they in fact are.

As well as the above demure style, Jenny Packham also adopted a younger style and has dressed many of the teen stars including the likes of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.  All of these names adopt a younger and fun style.  This is possibly one of the reasons she has been stormed with many prom dress requests.  She hopes her new prom style line, which will be launching in Debenhams soon, will answer some of these queries.

We will certainly be taking a peek at the all-new collection when it launches!  Watch this space!
