Many of us are getting a little excited for the Olympics and as such, the flame is flying in a series of cities across the country. THis is of course an excuse to dress up as well as an excuse to throw a little party!
Just like the jubilee, the Olympics are causing as much of a stir in the fashion world and many designers are theming their latest styles to the colours of the Olympics.
The London Olympics is in fact only a short time away and even the competitors are getting involved in a series of celebrity endorsement campaigns. Many are revealing their style tips as well as their exercise routines.
How to keep your make-up in place whilst performing some high-actions moves, a swimathon or a marathon is just one of the topics that has come into play. After all, those performing on the day will be doing so in front of millions and therefore wish to look their best on the day!
Hair care is another topic and one in which many wish to hear about. Swimmers have to deal with the likes of chlorine, which can in fact be very damaging to their hair. In order to combat such effects, the participants must stick to heavy conditioners and protective formulas.

This season we are seeing a variety of on-trend sunglasses appear on the highstreet! Such styles include the likes of pretty pastel numbers, the all-new Ray-Ban ‘it’ shape, the glam pop icon look, and the supermodel classic style.
Other on trend styles include those that you can wear with anything and everything, the elegant cat eyes, the preppy peepers, the celeb staple and of course, the powerful prints.
Block brights are another design to look out for and act as the perfect accessory for the warmer months. Such a style comes in the shape of ‘clubmaster’ frames in popping hues. There are few products us ladies just couldn’t live without! The kind of things you would take to a desert ideal if you were only allowed the one thing! We asked a few fashionista’s to share with us there favourite beauty buys.
The answers came in the shape of an assortment of must-have products. These included the likes of foundations, cleansing oil shampoo, satin hairspray, Doll Eyes Mascara, rouge lipshades, an infallible grey eyeliner, a smoothing resurfacing primer, cleansing foam and a BB cream.
Face Fabric in 2 from Giorgio Armani seems to be the foundation of choice. Priced at £33 it offers a smooth foundation that acts as a great cover-up.
Next up is the cleansing oil shampoo from the hair connoisseurs. Shu Uemura Art of Hair has gone out of their way to produce a dream product, adored by many! The product is gentle even on the most sensitive scalp. It is silicone free and makes the hair look super glossy!
Elnett hairspray is another favourite. It is used by both men and women and costs just £3.79. The best bit, it smells unlike any other hairspray and actually quite fragrant.
The mascara of choice comes in the form of Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara by Lancome. Priced at £20.50, it really makes the colour of your eyes pop! On top of this is also gives a great lift and a lot of volume…what more can we say!

This season appears to be reliving a blue revolution. Diesel have launched an extremely sexy line of new denim creations, which have all been designed with the wearers attitude in mind.
